The International Bible Forum 2007 was held at the Tokyo International Forum between 27 and 28 June 2007.
The details of the programme can be seen here:

It was again an exciting learning experience, which attracted almost 350-400 people including some Western participants, Asians, Korean and Japanese pastors, scholars, postgraduate students, lay persons, etc.
The photo exhibition by Mr. Yokoyama Tadashi was extraordinary wonderful. It becomes a good relaxation for me to browse the photos of Bible related places in Israel, Turkey and Greece during the intermissions. Some of the photos displayed were the same places where I did visit in Israel last March. I still cannot believe my own experience in Israel. Was it a dream or a reality?
I bought at last a Greek New Testament CD set at the bookshop in the forum. ‘Readings in the Greek New Testament' by Jonathan T. Pennington. Although I have Hebrew Bible CD Series of Genesis, Psalms and Isaiah by Myrtos, I could not find the Greek one even at a Christian bookstore near Kyoto University at least until July 2006!! Today I tried to listened to it. The sound is soft and clear, and it is relatively easier to understand.
Another item I bought this time was a book for prayer entitled ‘With open hands’ by Henri J.M. Nouwen and translated into Japanese by Takano Miyo. The publisher is St. Paul, a Catholic publication. If you are interested in the original version, see this site:
