This is an article collection between June 2007 and December 2018. Sometimes I add some recent articles too.

Briefing on the Malaysian news

I have been quoting several sources from Malaysian news reports on this blog as a news collection. (Lily)

1.“The Malay Mail”(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Malay_Mail)
The Malay Mail is a newspaper in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, first published in 1 December 1896 when KL was the capital of the then new Federated Malay States, making it the first daily to appear in the FMS.
In 1997, the Malay Mail was the NSTP Berhad's single most profitable unit through its grip on classifieds which, in the nature of a virtuous cycle, actually intensified its popularity.
The Malay Mail was linked to another daily newspaper, the New Straits Times via its holding company, NSTP Berhad.

2.“The Malaysian Insider”(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Malaysian_Insider)
The Malaysian Insider was established by the Png Hong Kwang and Sreedhar Subramaniam. Png is a journalist while Subramaniam is the former chief operating officer of the free-to-air Malaysian television channel ntv7.
It is now led by the chief executive officer and editor Jahabar Sadiq, who has worked as a journalist in Malaysia and the region since 1988.
UMNO accused The Insider of biased reporting. The party barred The Insider as well as several online news organizations from covering its general assembly held in Kuala Lumpur in 2009.

3.“Malaysiakini”(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malaysiakini)
Malaysiakini (English: "Malaysia Today") is a political news website published in English, Malay, Chinese and Tamil. Since its launch on November 20, 1999, it has been widely considered to be one of the leading non-government owned paid-news agencies in Malaysia.
Malaysiakini was founded by Premesh a/l Chandrangwasih and Steven Gan in November 1999. Frustrated with constraints on his previous reporting for The Sun, Gan decided to use the Multimedia Super Corridor pledge to create a space for uncensored journalism.
