No action still on Al-Islam?, 4 September 2009

It has been two months since Joachim and I lodged a police report against Al-Islam for its 'investigative journalism' and desecration of our Holy Communion.
We submitted two letters to the police requesting the status of the investigations.
On Aug 20, Joachim, Annou Xavier (a member of the Catholic Lawyers Society) and I walked in to the Dang Wangi Police Station in KL to meet with the Investigation Officer and inquire about the status of the case.
We were told that investigations had been completed and that the investigation papers have been submitted to the attorney-general's chambers.
What is stopping the attorney-general from pressing charges against them?
The Catholic Lawyers Society had handed over a memorandum to the home ministry urging the authorities to take action.
But till today still no action has been taken by the authorities and the government.
I found out that Al-Islam is linked to Umno. Al-Islam Magazine is published by Utusan Karya Sdn Bhd (anak Syarikat Kumpulan Utusan).
The journalist committed a serious offence and insulted another religion by their actions. What message is the government trying to send to the rakyat?
Are they saying that we don't care about other religions?
In Nov 2006 in Silibin, Ipoh, nearly 500 Muslims gathered outside a Catholic church after a false claim by the mufti of Perak Harussani, that Muslim students were to be baptised by national mariner Azhar Mansor.
Years have passed, and till today still no action has been taken against the mufti.
Malaysians protested against the act of the journalists. Is the government blind and deaf to this issue? Is the government saying it's ok to spy on other religions and insult their teachings?
Till today, there is no action taken against those involved in the recent 'cow head' protest.
In fact, the Home Minister, Hishamudin has thrown his support behind those who organised the protest, and even held a press conference together with them.
What is happening to our country? What 1Malaysia is Najib talking about? Is he trying to mean 1Umno?
