"Lily's Room"

This is an article collection between June 2007 and December 2018. Sometimes I add some recent articles too.

Matters of Christianity

Today I received the official programme and the attendance sheet from the office of the Society of Historical Studies of Christianity, Japan in Meijigakuin University, Tokyo. On 15 September 2007, I will do my own presentation at the 58th annual conference. In this society, everything is well-prepared and well-organized compared to the other societies and associations I have so far connected. I would like to do my best for the presentation, which is the first occasion for me.

By the way, my Hokkien-Chinese Malaysian friend left Tokyo for Hong Kong today’s afternoon after her short vacation in Japan with her husband. We talked over the telephone a few days ago and it was a good chance for developing our friendship. What we chatted then was about the Malay translation of the Christian books, Rev. Dr. William Shellabear and his Malay assistant, recent Islamic trend, the Lina Joy’s case and its implication in Malaysia, Tokyo Mosque and Muslim immigrant workers in Japan, Japanese wives, and so forth.

I prayed this morning for her and her husband’s safety in their journey.
