When I was a primary school pupil, I thought of a possibility of holding weekly family meetings and publishing family newspapers accordingly. I hoped to develop my own ideas, thoughts and writing skills, and to keep mental stability and intimate interactions among the family members by doing so.
The dream did not come true. It was simply because my parents were somehow reluctant.
Even now I sometimes feel that we have missed a great chance that could never be made up in our lives any more.
The family K is totally opposite. They make it a rule to publish and circulate the bilingual (German and Japanese) family magazines twice a year. It was five years ago when Dr. K.G.C., the son, started sending me this unique magazine regularly.
Today I received the latest issue from the family K.
It is truly wonderful! I always enjoy reading it out in German so that I can brush up my German a bit.
The contents are hermeneutics, Bible interpretations, stories of faithful life with daily activities, introductions of Christian literature, etc. I learn a lot from their perspectives and frankness in attitude. They belong to the Church-less Church, namely, Mukyokai in Japanese.
I would like to share some of the interesting stories from the magazines with you soon.
