Malaysia: Islamic leaders assemble to “revive the spirit of the Muslim world” and unite fellow Muslims at war with one another

Leaders of major Islamic nations are attending an Islamic summit in Malaysia that is intended to strengthen ties among Muslim nations and “revive the spirit of the Muslim world.” Among attendees are well known Islamic supremacists and despots, including Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, and Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani.

Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad wrote on the summit website:

We proclaim that all Muslims are brothers and yet, our nations are involved in endless civil wars, sectarian wars, wars with our Muslim neighbours and inviting non-Muslim nations to assist us in our wars with fellow Muslims.

He also bemoaned the fact that some Muslims are being called “terrorists.” Of course he avoids discussing the global jihad and the human rights abuses that Muslims frequently commit against unbelievers. Instead, he emphasizes only that Muslims are at war against “Muslim neighbors.” This is because normative Islam is not a religion of peace. It is an Islamic tenet to subvert the House of War (disbelieving people and nations), and in fact completely to disavow unbelievers. Since Muslims are commanded to spread the religion and conquer the House of War, the Islamic principle of al-Wala’ wal-Bara’ is foundational. This concept commands complete loyalty to Islam and disavowal of all others. So “it is not enough for a Muslim to dislike un-Islamic practices and non-Muslims; instead, true Muslims must reject un-Islamic practices and non-Muslims actively and wholeheartedly.” This is the heart and core of Islamic supremacism; it is the reason why disbelievers are relentlessly beaten down for being “Islamophobic” for merely a whiff of anything that offends Islam or Muslims. And this is the reason why to “revive the spirit of the Islamic world” in accordance with the Islamic Summit does not include living peaceably with infidel neighbors.

It should come as no surprise that Mahathir Mohamad “has recently called for setting up an Islamic alliance to address major Muslim problems and Islamophobia.”

“Leaders of major Muslim nations to attend Islam summit in Malaysia,” The Week, December 16, 2019:

Malaysian Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad in his message to participants of the Kuala Lumpur summit said that summit can potentially take cooperation between Muslim nations to new heights and revive the spirit of the Muslim world.

The President wrote in the official website of the summit, “We proclaim that all Muslims are brothers and yet, our nations are involved in endless civil wars, sectarian wars, wars with our Muslim neighbours and inviting non-Muslim nations to assist us in our wars with fellow Muslims.”

Among the key problems, the Muslim world faces are an abuse of power, corruption and being accused of becoming a breeding ground for terrorism.

PM Mahathir Mohamad who is also chairman of the summit wrote, “We can keep on shouting that such labels, especially being breeders of terrorism, as callous anti-Islam propaganda. We know that it is really true but our weakness and disunity have given credence to this propaganda.”….

Prominent leaders like Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Hamad Al Thani, Turkish President RecepTayyip Erdogan, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan and Rouhani are expected to attend the summit that will take place from Wednesday to Saturday.

50 countries will be participating in the summit and 400 participants will be in attendance.
